: all quote the full retail price of $1,495
: for the Seamaster 2541.80.00. Is this what I
: should expect to have to pay or should I
: attempt to negotiate?
Negotiate. Any US dealer ought to be able to offer a minimum of 10% off the price. 15% is common, 20% is possible.
Though you can also order a watch from an Authorized Dealer by phone from out of state. If so, you won't have to pay sales tax, saving you far more than the shipping cost.
Several people here can recommend highly reputable authorized OMEGA dealers that will do this at even greater % off the retail price.
