Full retail, are you nuts!!??
In Response To: No way... ()

Just kidding, Guest. I don't know how it works in the US, but here in Australia, you can get around 25% off retail depending on the brand and depending on how you pay. I know this because I sell Omegas. I don't work for a grey market dealer, I work for a high-end (man, I hate that term) retail store. Down here, the Bond SMP full-sized auto (2531.80.00) retails for $2875 AUD, but customers who pay cash and haggle for a better price usually wind up paying approx $2150 AUD. Even less if they're polite to me!
It can be the same for Tag Heuers and almost any other brand.
I don't know how it works in the States, Guest, but try this- have a little fun with these stores. Call their bluff. Tell 'em "what's-his-name down the street will give me the SMP for 15% off retail (be sure to calculate 15% off the retail price of the watch beforehand rather than mentioning the percentage figure. Give them a dollar amount to work with instead of a percentage.) , but I didn't like their snooty sales guy. I would rather deal with you if you can beat their price."
And see what happens. If you play them against each other and you have no luck, then there's something slightly askew with the world.
Good luck.
