What's wrong with Titanium unless you don't like a light strong watch.

I've owned a Chrono Titane for the past several years and it is one of my favourite watches. I scuba dive with it.

And as I've read this whole thread, I had a watch - not an Omega - That didn't want to start, but never had a watch that stopped for a period of time and then resumed.

: I spoke with the manager, which made a big
: difference. He saw how flustered I was. I
: asked for the watch back, he asked why, I
: proceeded to tell him that the Omega service
: center in New York said this model was made
: specifically for the U.S., and speaking with
: experts from an omega forum, and seeing the
: same model watch on UK Yahoo, that he was
: lying. The Manager said that what he meant
: to say was that Omega alots a certain amount
: of watches for the U.S., U.K., Germany,
: France, ect...,basically each country. He
: saw that I was very unhappy and asked what I
: wanted. I said all I want is a New Watch
: that works, not refurbished, but new. I told
: him that the watch had been acting this way
: since I brought it home, he checked his
: inventory for this specific model, 2255.80,
: and found that he had none left, I asked if
: he could order one, he said he would call me
: in the morning with how long it would take
: to ship. This is were I stand now, he seems
: sincere. I just hope everything works out.
: If it takes to long, I may opt for another
: seamaster, maybe with a black face, since he
: as quite a few of those, even if it is not
: my first choice, at least it will work, or I
: might pay the extra amount and buy a
: titanium body and bracelet, but I am not to
: thrilled with the titanium finish. What are
: your thoughts? Any comments about the
: titanium Seamaster Pro? I will post a time
: frame after I speak with him in the morning.
: The managers name is Ron, and he seems very
: nice.
