THe new ones have it laser etched on the outside and inside....if u dont have it on the outside....its probably an older model...and the serial is on the inside....on my new one....I can see the number on the inside at the 10 oclock position...thru the clear case back.....
so i guess you will have to open yours up...unless you kno it to be new...
