When I got home, I checked this.
The plastic warranty card has no info on it. It has the name of the dealer, but no info about my watch, or the date sold etc..
There is another paper warranty thing, that has a sticky on it with a "watch no", and that number does not match my watch.
I called the dealer, and they said that is not a problem, that I can put the number on the warranty card, it is not done by omega, and if the watch needed repair, all that matters is that I have a valid warranty card from the authorized dealer.
I made an inquiry through the email function of the Omega Customer service channel.
I am pretty sure this is an authentic watch and all, but I am trying to make sure, by dotting the i's etc...
Thanks for your advice.
: The serial number on the 7.00 o'clock lug
: should also match the numbers on your
: warranty card.
