Hi,
I just got a new Speedmaster Triple Date - 3523.80.00, and I'm enjoying it very much.
But I'm wondering - according to this forum and the FAQs, the serial for the seamaster is on the 7:00 lug. However, on my watch it's directly below the seahorse, right on the removable caseback. I don't have anything on all four lugs. Is this the proper place for it? I did buy it at an authorized OMEGA dealer, and I got all the papers and everything, but I just thought it's weird that it's not on the place that I expected it to be in.
Another thing, how durable are the numbers for the Tachymetre? My numbers are black letters on silver stainless steel. Will the black paint come off as time passes?
