You seem to have caught me off guard -- you must have been talking about USED watches, which are of course different.
The original conversation was about whether introducing further new models would cause price drops on existing models. I don't read minds, so I need you to be a little more clear if you want me to follow your thoughts when you change the basis of the discussion!
Certainly you are right about watches dropping in value as they change from new to used status and as they lose any remaining factory warranty.
