Question About Vintage Seamaster Finish....

Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of restoring a vintage Seamaster and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the finish "should be" on this case back. It is from a snap back case. Is it supposed to be all mirror polished, or is it supposed to have the outside bevel polished and the flat surface brushed? I have seen it both ways and was wondering what the factory finish would be. Thanks for your help!!!
