Remember, a watch doesn't understand AM and PM. It only knows a 12 hour cycle and that it needs to change the date every OTHER time it passes 12:00.

So likely, your date will change at 12 NOON today -- meaning you need to advance your watch by 12 hours so it changes at 12 MIDNIGHT instead.
