SeaMaster 300M Chronometer HELP

I have an OMEGA SeaMaster 300M Chronometer.

I have been having problems with it graining 5 seconds every 24 hours. It has been sent to Swatch Group for regulation but is still fast. OMEGA say this is normal as it does not gain more then +6 seconds per day.

What I don't understand is how can this watch be a accurate timepiece when it runs fast and has anyone else had a problem with there watch running fast or slow?.
