Can someone give me some background information about this Omega? (it was my grandfather's watch)

It has a automatic (Cal. 552, 24 jewels) movement, and is numbered 20675679 inside the case. I would like to know more about the quality of the movement and watch. (pro's and con's). Would you consider it a historically relevant watch within the Omega timeline?

Would you consider restoring it to new (by omega) or would the costs exceed its current value?

Omega Cal. 552, 24 jewels anno 1963
Still working like a charm, but dial and case are in need of some restoration.
