I went through the same thing last year. I started on the MWR forum, and was loving he old Tudor sub, then was advised about vintage watches...so then I looked into a new tudor....well, I then found the Omega Seamster GMT - only I couldn't afford (or didn't want to anyway) the 2 grand price. So I went on the sales forum and snagged a really nice one from 1999 for only $900. Done deal... I love the GMT function as I travel a great deal - actually going through several time zones a week. After I am done with the travel at this job, I will still like have the GMT just because it's different...and I like having an added complication. So, I rambled enough...I think the pre-owned Omega market has the best deals. I have had nothing but great things to say about my GMT. I suppose the same would hold true of an SMP. Good luck and please let us know what you do. Brian
