: Can anyone tell me whether the watch serial
: number for the Omega speedmaster moon watch
: is on the inside or outside of the watch.
All OMEGA watches ever made have a serial number inside on the movement itself. In addition, all OMEGA watches for the past 15 years or more also have the number somewher eon the outside of the case, usually on one of the lugs or on the caseback.
: If it suppose to be on the outside and isn't
: does this mean it is fake?
Not necessarily. It may mean that the watch was a geuinne one, but sold through a cut-rate unauthorized dealer. Read the section on Gray Market Watches in the CONSUMER ZONE here on Chronocentric for detail on what that means.
