: If you don't have a warranty card properly
: filled out by an authorized dealer -- then
: you do not have a valid factory warranty. So
: OMEGA will not repair the watch except at
: your expense.
: Also, depending on exactly when you bought the
: watch, it may have only had a one year
: factory warranty anyway. I believe OMEGA has
: recently changed that to two years.
: Where did you buy the watch? Possibly the
: dealer you bought it from will do the
: warranty work for you.
My wife bought me this watch. I just found out where she got it. She got the watch from bacario.com. I called them and they said they would cover the watch under a 2 year warrenty that they offer through them. However that means the watch goes through their repair shop.
Not sure what I should do? Should I use the warrenty and hope their shop does a good job, or pay for Omega to fix it. Omega already gave me a $550 estimate to repair it which would include a 12 month warrenty on the watch after the repairs.
