Pablo, Congratulations on a beautiful timepiece. I too have a SMP, actually, I have two, the 2255.80 and the 2230.50. I agree with Fwelers, while your SMP is resting, different positions actually change the rate of seconds. My new routine is wear the SMP all day, and every other night, lay it facing up, flat. THe other nights it is on my winder. I never have to wind the SMP.I set the time to the atomic clock in Colorodo, and after two plus weeks, is exact to the second. It did fluctuate about 1 second a day, but resting it seems to bring it back to perfect time. Each SMP has its own personality, so you will have to experiment, with positions and routines to find what works best for your SMP. Congratulations again on a beautiful Timepiece. KEvin
