That's easy. Back in 1956 things worked different than they do today.
In that era, OMEGA normally shipped watches to dealers with no band attached. It was up to the dealer to suit the customer's need by selecting an OMEGA strap or when available an OMEGA metal bracelet to fit the watch.
So there is no right or wrong answer to what to put on it to make it authentic to how it would have been in 1956.
