I was just in Geneva about a month ago. The prices are considerably higher than in the US. Essentially, the number stays the same but the denomination is Euro. I did not venture far away from the city proper as I was only there for 3 hours. Im sure if you went to Chaux de Fonds or something out of the way you would see a better deal. They were also unwilling to negotiate on the price. When I told the sales lady what the price was in the US (Speedmaster Pro), She said impossible.
: Thanks, Derek. I'm running myself ragged trying
: to find a simple, white faced automatic and
: have been checking out everything from B&R
: to Hamilton. I love the Aqua Terras, but
: they don't have a white face in the
: mid-sized models and the prices here are
: about $400 more than advertised on the net
: in the USA. But I seem to be learning a lot
: from your site and shopping around.
