Sorry I haven't been to La Swiss in a couple of years . Are you sure they can not get parts ? I had to get A replacement Helium valve for me SMP Bond and put in myself with very little problem getting the parts from Rings etc.. in Ottawa . The Omega service is very good in TO , I just find them very expencive . I also got a date wheel for a vintage Omega tank from A local jeweller here in Kingston and I also rember getting a replacement crystal for a Speedmaster chrono Mark IV here in Kingston . If you bought the watch at La Swiss you might get some good will from them but as I said I have not visited them in a couple of years .
Good luck
: I got the watch from La Swiss, but they haven't
: been Omega dealers for more than 2 years now
: and therefore can't get parts. The other
: chain dealers in town are more jewellery
: stores than watch stores and I'm not
: inclined to trust their horological
: expertise.
