Can anyone confirm true size of 35mm Aqua Terra?

I've read, both on this and other forums, that the actual measured diameter of the 35mm Aqua Terra is anywhere between 35 and 36.2mm between 3 and 9 o'clock. Can anyone confirm the actual diameter based on your actual first hand measurements? I know the Omega website has officially changed the diameter to 36.2mm, but I've still read that it's size is 35mm between 3 and 9. I'm a little confused and would feel strange walking into a jewelry store with a ruler.
