Re: Aqua Terra Dial Size
In Response To: Re: Aqua Terra Dial Size ()

Yes, large watches seem to be "in". Whether or not this is a fad, only time will tell.

I will admit that my fashion sense (at age 60) is more traditional and conservative. As a result, I appreciate the more classic style. The AT is such a watch but the standard 39.2mm 2503.34.00 stainless with white dial just looked too large for my wrist. It looked even larger than my Speedy Pro.

I think the "largeness" is due to the light colored dial and stainless (silver) bezel/case. Perhaps a darker dial would have appeared smaller.

The obvious solution to your dilemma would be to try the various models on your wrist but if you live in the boonies as I do, that may not be convenient.

If you want a mid-size co-axial AT, your choices are unfortunately limited at the moment to steel or YG. There are even fewer quartz options but do include the two-tone 2318.30.00 shown here on my wrist:

I love the look and the size but would prefer a co-axial. (Listen up Omega!)
