Re: Resizing the Speedmaster bracelet: please help

Yes, the bracelet is easy to do but take your time to avoid any scratches. There are no collets to put back on the end (a la Seiko Monster) but NB there are collars / tubes that fit inside the centre links - they act as bushings I suppose, but do not hold the pin in location. So look out for those and ensure they are present before you replace the pin in the opposite direction to the way you took it out, Obviously the pin is different at each end and you need to pay attention to the arrow direction on the bracelet. Take you time and it'll be fine.
: Hi all,
: I would like to know if is it possible to
: resize by myself the bracelet of a
: Speedmaster (a new one); I would use a
: bracelet resizing tool (one of those with
: wheel and the spindle).

: Has the Speedy bracelet the small pieces around
: the pins ? Is the work really complicated ?
: TIA
