The Omegamatic is similar but not the same as the Seiko Kinetic. A rotor, just like in an automatic watch supplies power to an electric capacitor which powers a quartz movement. The Omega can be wound by hand, while the Seiko cannot.
So you have a hybrid quartz movement that is powered by a capacitor (battery?) that is charged by the movements of your arm. Hope this helps.
