I just had a look at the "Brands" page on this site: http://www.chronocentric.com/watches/brands.shtml
In the "Luxury" category, Omega is given as an example brand. It has this to say:
"Sold officially mainly through dealers of higher-end jewelry. Though several forms of unauthorized resellers exist. Discounts through authorized dealers are restricted by the manufacturers to avoid cheapening the brand image."
So I guess it's not possible to haggle to the bone with an authorised dealer, as Omega won't let them discount too far.
