I heard this quote from someone on this forum "Those who buy with their hearts will always buy autos, and those who buy with their heads will always buy quartz".
What a joke. If you are going for complete, insane, and excessive accuracy, why the heck would you buy a Omega, Rolex, or any other mid-high end brand? That is a absolute joke. These mid-high end watches are about luxury, quality, longevity, and the privilage of owning a quality time piece. Not about being 1-2 sec accurate per month, which is not neccarry.
Also, quartz watches lose a few seconds a day no matter what, but high end movements like the ones Rolex make, tend to lose the same. And high quality auto moving watches tend to even itself out in the end anyhow.
In fact, why buy a darn anologue watch to begin with? If you are so crazy as to care about losing a few minutes a month, then get a cheap $20 Casio digital watch my friend. Paying $1,000+ for a quartz watch is not using your head at all.
