Keith: I sent it to a US service center as you identified. This whole 3-month process has been a real headache. While the coaxial wheel was apparently defective, and several other parts were replaced, Joseph T.'s early diagnosis, hairspring has shifted/moved,was apparently correct. The watch has NEVER run accuratelyin the 8 months I have had it. That would seem to indicate the need for a new movement.
Given this protracted scenario, I seriously doubt I will ever buy an Omega again-at least an automatic. If I do, I will be sure to heed your sage advice and send it to Switz. if it ever needs warranty service.
