I've never been a fan of quartz watches but. . .

I like the classic style of the AT.
My wrist size dicatates a mid-size (34-36mm) watch (non-sport).
I wanted a watch that wears well in the board room or at the beach.
I'm a older WIS and like two-tones.

So a couple of months ago I bought this 2318.30.00 quartz AT:

and have to admit that I love it.

It gets more wrist time than any of my other watches and runs about +2 sec/month.

I would suggest shopping around before buying a quartz however. The resale is not as good as for mechanicals. The clincher on my purchase was buying it new with warranty for 40% of retail. There are bargains to be found.

And the luminosity is great!
