: The watch had one or two very minor
: scratches/scuffs on the omega seal clasp.
Those are normal from everyday wear or handling.
: The salesman said that some new watches come
: with 'marks'.
Baloney. New watches come with protective plastic. Any scratches are from handling at the store after the protective plastic has been removed.
: So my main question is, is it possible that my
: watch wasnt brand new?
Not terribly likely. Just had some minor marks from handling in the store. What surprises me is that they didn't offer to buff them out for you.
