Derek, thanks...

I tried your suggestion too. They wanted me to send the watch to them to fit the strap as a repair/service. I'll give that a miss because this thing stays on my arm period.

WestRepair got in touch so I'll give them a shot (Thanks Richard!).

I'll let you know how it all turns out, hopefully with photos.
