What you're experiencing happened to me too. But mine was more frustrating. I bought my seamaster 2531.80 brand new from a reputable jeweller. After 2 weeks of enjoying the watch I noticed a spec of dust in the glass of the watch face . It wasn't there when I bought the watch. I never opened it whatsoever.

I had the dust removed, they mentioned that it must've been there when it left the factory but not in an obvious position.

Have it removed if it truly bothers you.
