Re: if u dont sub-consciencly think rolex is bette

Even Rolex have bracelets that fall apart we see both Omega and Rolex in for repair most of the time its the fact that the bracelet is worn that then works the bracelet apart. The pin and tube or spilt pin on a Omega if fitted correctly will stay in place just as well as the screw in a Rolex. We deal with many brands and all use the 3 types of fitting. One of the best is on the Movado Vizio which is a screw and nut.

The top links on most bracelets now are a solid section some companies supply this as a spare part other you have to replace the complete bracelet. This top section are always spline fitted to a blink off end.

I prefer the Rolex fitting just because it’s a screw so you know it’s tight but I have seen a lot of loose screws in my time
