I just got a new black faced GMT (w/ Speedy brac.) for my 40th birthday! Well, it really was not a surprise, but I know my wife had it hidden in the house somewhere for 3 months before my birthday. I knew this and it was very tough to have the discipline to not go "hunt" for it and see it before I was supposed to.
Ironically it's my wife's birthday today. She wants a specific purse. That is what she is getting. "When wife is happy....everybody's happy!" Ha ha ha
I will offer up a brief review/accuracy report and hopefully some pics in the near future. I gotta borrow a digital camera.
This is Omega #3 "in the family". I bought an SMP (full size, auto, electric blue face/SS bezel) nearly four years ago. My wife has the Ladies silver-face Aqua Terra, an excellent all-around woman's watch IMO. And now the GMT for me...hey that rhymes!
In any case, "thank-yous" go out to:
1) My lovely wife, for allowing this WIS insanity to continue.
2) This site, and Mr. Ziglar, for excellent ongoing Omega information.
3) Mr. Downing, for his original referal to "our best dealer friend".
4) United States Postal Service...'nuff said!
Have a nice day,
MMC
