Oh I understand that all to well. It is conspicuously displayed on the Omega website. :-) However, we have all shopped the internet and can easily find new Omegas selling on the web none-the-less from reputable retailers. How? You got me. But it happens... a lot. The New Seamaster Pros is all over the web. Although I did not purchase mine on the web (I'm as leary about that as you are.) i do know people that have purchased them new on the web along with the box and papers (well, actually they are documents in the form of a plastic card). Again, I am not trying to be argumentative, I'm just speaking from what I have seen. And then there are always the pre-owned models being sold by many online shops.
