That's a nice piece to inherit! Sounds like a two-tone Seamaster Pro with the white dial. That model was made probably between 1993 and 1999. The dial is a textured white (which gives it a pearlish look) and the gold parts would be solid 18k.
With the serial number, OMEGA can tell you the model number and original USA retail price. The value of that watch in excellent condition should be in the range of 45-50% of its original retail. If its condition is worse, the value decreases.
I have never dealt with the two-tone models, so have no clue what the retail price on them were. I think one or two readers here have the two-tone, so maybe they can help with that info.
