Coming late to this thread, but for what it's worth.... agonized over the blue/blue "bond" SMP versus the black/black SMP... I tried the blue/blue on approval for a weekend. It just did not cut it from a functionality point of view. It sure is pretty but found the skeleton hands a problem. You either love them or hate them ! Tried the black/black and loved it. Bought the black/black full size and no regrets, it's wonderful and can be dressed up or down.
