I've had mine 3 weeks... gained about 3 sec in the first week but has settled down to just over +1/day.

Re visibility - mine is the black face. I find the visibility fantastic in low light due to the mirror hands. Even outside at night (e.g. an hour after sunset - sky very dark blue) I can get a reflection off the hands. The one time it's terrible is when there is a only single point of light and the rest of the world is black.

I'm expecting my COSC certificate soon...
