IWC timing capability will be in the same league as Omega...within COSC specs. IWC uses heavily modified ETA movements...just the same as Omega.
IMO, some IWCs are beautiful (Mark XV, Dopplechrono., Fliegerchrono, etc)....some are rather plain, like the Portofino.
One drawback - big price premium for a watch in the same quality league as Omega. But if you want something pretty uncommon, IWC is a great way to go.
I have never owned one.
