OMEGA introduced them in 2000 with the Speedie bracelet -- BUT -- OMEGA USA thought it wouldn't sell well here so insisted on still usingthe Bond bracelet at first.

That's right. the ones with the Bond bracelet were numbered 2055.80 and 2054.50.
