Thanks for getting back to me. I was curious about the smaller size of auto movements, although I totally agree with what you were saying about functionality not being of utmost importance to women.
In fact, I learnt about this first hand. When I bought my Omega SMP Chronograph I also bought my wife a Gucci watch. I was the one who asked about the movement etc and the fact that its quartz and only splashproof simply doesn't bother her.
In fact, the colour of the dial means that the watch is not easy to read, but she says that it's simply there to look good and she'll ask ME what the time is anyway....WOMEN!!!
