It is very intresting to see your reponse in such a manner to still defend the opinion where the movment or the technical part of the watch doesn't matter at all to me or to whoever it is in this forum.
I have already checked out the website you have pointed me. The quality of those rolex looking watch doesn't match the quality of the Marcello C in my opinion.
For a few days I thought I should just let this go but I just couldn't. In your last comment you suggested if we care so much about accuracy why don't we go for an quartz watch? I find that argument childish and your last stab to make your last attempt.
I tell you why I am choosing omega over quartz. I also could have gotten myself an omega quartz instead of automatic. Upon owning myself quartz watches before I realized automatic movments are a class of its own. Autmatic movment may not be as accurate compared with quartz but from what they are made out of being only a few seconds slower or faster per day is an technical marvel. And I cherish and admire such beautiful time piece on my wrist.
Since I marvel the automatic movment ofcourse then I would like to choose an automatic movment
that is the best or almost close to best within its own class. However, instead of telling me the difference of the 1120 caliber of omega smp and the difference of the 2824 movment of the marcello c I have to hear such comment from you and I find that quite disappointing.
Personally I don't really have to come here to hear this from anyone let alone a moderator.
I do not see why we should just not care about accuracy just because we are using an automatic. Even within automatic movment there are some which are more realiable and accurate than others. The more accurate the accurate automatic movment and the more reliable the better the movment. In this case the modified 1120 eta 2892-a2 movment is better than the 2824 movment.
If everyone here wants a more accurate automatic watch and ask for you opinion then this forum should be called omega quartz watch only forum.
Since you don't care nor do you think the movment of an automatic make any difference to you or anyeone else then why do you even care what watch you should be wearing? Maybe you are the one who should mod the Design only forums.
I even have a link where someone out there did a poll and it is 2/3 people who have chosen technical over design.
