I heartliy agree with your thinking here! That's why I wear only mechanical watches.
Most of everything else in your message shows that you are having trouble grasping what I am saying because it wasn't what you were expecting. While I would have liked to have a intellectual conversation with you on the subject, it falls apart as you can't control your emotions and choose to continully overreact, misinterpret and become insulting to those who are trying to help you with good information learned over many years of dealing with this.
I hope you enjoy whatever you choose to buy! It can't be a bad choice if it suits what you want to get out of owning a fine watch.
