: Ok, from time to time on EBAY i see a 007
: replacement dial.
: Are these real?
: And if they are, where would you recommend i
: take my watch to have it put on?
: Thanks
I doubt that they're real.
Ebay is a hive of thievery and deception. If you want one I'd buy it from Omega if they can sell you one. However what I would say is this:-
If you bought an Omega Seamaster Pro because it's James Bond's watch then the last thing James Bond would do is put his name and number on his watch. How sad would that be? More sophisticated is to simply have the SMP without any vulgar, if collectible, Bond affiliation on it. While I love the James Bond legacy to bits I would never have it on my wrist. Bond had an SMP. He did not have a James Bond 007 special edition SMP. Plus if you bought a dial to go on an original, you'd know it wasn't the real special edition. If it were me, that would bother me after a bit.
All the best,
Pete J
