But what collector would want a standard model with just the limited edition dial slapped on it? It would be unethical to sell such a piece as a real 007LE. So I don't see any gain except some limited personal satisfaction on having that other dial on it.

Heck, I am a huge Bond fan. But I considered the 007LE to be too geeky for me. As others have said, a real Bond would not have his personal logo splashed all over his watch!

Also, realize that if you ever have to send a bastardized watch like that to OMEGA for repair, they might refuse to touch it -- since it obviously has been altered with unauthorized parts for that model.
