Two years ago I was debating the same thing with the same watch. I had been wearing a watch even smaller and lighter than your Tag, so the full-size SMP was a big jump up in size for me. However, I got used to it very quickly and now I think the mid-size version looks tiny.
The pic you posted of your watch on your wrist looks almost identical to the way mine looks on my small wrist. I've been wearing mine daily for two years now and I absolutely love it, so I'd suggest keeping it unless you find that the weight of the watch really bothers you.
