Help for new Omega Seamaster owner

I am hoping you folks can help me try to figure out how to use my new Omega Seamaster, as I find the Omega owners manual rather anemic.

I recently purchased a new Omega Seamaster 300M Chrono Diver and I am having the hardest time getting the watch to start once it winds down.

Let me preclude that I do own other automatics so I would like to think I actually know what I'm doing, but who knows.

First off, what is the best way to get the watch started?

Do I try to wind it manually via the crown first, then try to rotate the movement, or visa versa?

Also, do I actually rotate the movement clockwise or counter-clockwise on this model?

I have also had an issue where the movement winds down in the evening even though I am still wearing the watch (although i did not manually wind it at the crown before I started wearing it).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Frank
