Re: Help for new Omega Seamaster owner

By all means, give it a full 40 turn manual wound, right now. That's the best way to start wearing any watch that you havent' worn a while.

The crown will wind in the forward motion. Once fully wound, an atomatic watch will not wind down if you wear it on the dayly bases. All you're doing during the day, driving, walking, picking up the tlephone etc. is keeping your watch at the near fully wound position. The automatic winding mechanism inside the watch winds both ways, not something you have to wory about once you wound your watch once, then wear it on a dayly basis.
