I had the same issue with the 2254.50 and with the Bond SMP. Like Derek said, though, after a while I got used to the feel of the heavy watch on a heavy bracelet.
Also, as Derek mentioned, err on the side of "too loose". The first time I had my watch sized I thought it fit "just right". Then I started to lightly perspire the next day and the watch stuck to my wrist like glue (quite painful!!!). I added a half link and the problem was solved.
