i searched omega's site and setteled on the de-ville co-axial chronometer. because of shortage of time at the dubai duty free, i did not notice till my flight took off that my watch says ( on the dial ) "automatic chronometer" , NOT "co-axial chronometer", although i have the words "co-axial escapement" engraved on the back. my watch is the 4531 5000, and the web site of omega has a picture of this model saying "automatic chronometer". however, the picture of the 4531 5100 says "co-axial chronometer" . is there any difference at all between these two models ?
secondly, the more i wear the watch , the more i love the looks of the watch and the more i hate the look of the bracelet !! the shiny edges are driving me crazy... i just feel the bracelet looks bloody tacky !! i now want to order a black leather strap with the deployant clasp. 1.) if i have to order from omega, what's the correct part number , and 2) if not a genuine omega strap ,where can i get an after market one from ?i'm sure the watch will look a lot more elegant with this . any help with addreses most appreciated.
lastly, i saw a picture of a de-ville with a see thru back on this forum. mine has a regular steel back. which models have such a see thru back ?
thanks, and regards,
behkab.
