: Hi all,
: great forum here- i've been lurking for a while
: and reading a great deal about omegas and
: seamasters in general. I did a search for
: this topic but it didnt come up with any
: specifics like on this situation- sorry if i
: missed it in the search.
: I just got a brand new seamaster 2254.50 and i
: love it- been lusting after one for a long
: time. When i first got it 5 days ago, i was
: very careful with my wrist and keeping the
: watch out of harms way. After a few days i
: reverted back to my careless ways- i was at
: the beach with my wife and as we were
: leaving, i picked up the towel as i'd
: normally do and gave it a good shake to get
: the sand out of it. Imagine more of a
: whipping motion with both hands, fairly
: forcefully. I immediately remembered the
: watch and am now hoping i didn't do any
: serious damage. It's waranteed, etc, but i'd
: rather not be without it if i dhad to send
: it back.
: Does anyone have any insight into whether i may
: have harmed the watch???
: Thanks!
I wear mine trap shooting...never noticed a problem.....100 + shotgun recoils in a couple of hours...still fine after 3 years
