Older versions of this watch say "Automatic Chronometer". I'm not sure exactly when the change took place, but the newer versions do say "Co-Axial Chronometer" on the dial (as mine does). Regardless of what is written on the dial, you still have the co-axial movement driving the watch.

I happen to love the bracelet on this particular watch, but to each his own. I can't help you with the part number for a leather strap, but if you call your local Omega dealer I'm sure they can get you one.

The model you saw with the see-through sapphire caseback was Keith Downing's DeVille Chronograph (model 4541.31.00 I believe). Since the chronograph models command about a $1000 premium over standard DeVille models, they also come with see-through casebacks. Your model and mine do not.
