Congratulations on your new watch. I must admit that my 2531.80 Bond SMP is my favorite (and most worn) Omega.
Your watch has an overwind protection mechanism built in to it, so you cannot overwind it. You can actually hear this mechanism "kick in" if you listen closely to the watch as you wind it. You'll hear the watch click as you continue to turn the crown to wind it. When you hear this clicking sound the watch is fully wound.
